Mohanlal has been going great guns for the past two months. Because he had tasted 3 consecutive successes in one and half month time in his career. The first one which got the acceptance was the Telugu movie Manamantha, in which he played the lead role. The second one was the gigantic success of Janata Garage, another Telugu movie in which he played the lead along with Jr. NTR. It had grossed over 100 crores already as well. Now, his Malayalam film Oppam, which was the Onam release is moving to one of the biggest blockbusters in his career as well.

It set a new record in 24-hour view count as well surpassing the teaser view record set by Mammootty movie Kasaba. Janata Garage Malayalam teaser had become the first Malayalam teaser to cross 2 Million views as well. Now his upcoming movie Pulimurugan’s trailer had set the record for most watched Malayalam Movie trailer in 24 hour time and also reached 1 Million view Mark in YouTube as well in record time. Surely, he is the emperor of Mollywood.
