Hattrick Blockbusters for Mohanlal in 2016!
Mohanlal once again proving that he is the biggest ever Super Star Mollywood had ever seen in its history and still remains the best in the business. He had no releases till this August after the release of Kanal in last year October. He had come up with his first Telugu Film named Manamantha in this August. It had won him great critical appreciation from all over and Sairam in Manamantha is one of his best performances in recent years as well. The film had got a decent box office success as well.

Then he comes up with his next Telugu film named Janatha Garage, which had Jr. NTR as well in it. The film went on to become the biggest blockbuster in Tollywood this year and it had made a place in the 100 crore club of Tollywood as well. Thus Mohanlal becomes the first Malayalam Film Hero to be a part of the 100 crore club playing the lead role in a movie.
Then came Oppam, the Malayalam crime thriller directed by Priyadarshan. The film had become a blockbuster success and it is still running with houseful shows from all over. It will soon cross the 50 crores mark from its worldwide run as it is performing well outside India also. As of now Oppam had collected around 37 crores from Kerala alone.
Now, another blockbuster of him making waves here. It is Pulimurugan directed by Vysakh. The film had got tremendous audience reviews and in the box office too, it is thrashing all existing records. It had already grossed above 30 crores from 7 days from its all India run. The Telugu dubbed version of the movie titled Manyam Puli will also hit the screens very soon. Thus, a class hit and 3 hattrick blockbusters had made this year a Mohanlal year for Malayalees. Mohanlal, again and again, proving that he is the undisputed emperor of Mollywood Box Office.
