Mega Star Mammootty is all set to cross the boundaries of Mollywood just like Universal Star Mohanlal, who had already become highly popular all over South India by doing, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films in last few years. Mohanlal’s two Telugu movies are on its way to the screens as well. Mammootty to come up with two Tamil movies as a part of increasing his market and he had already started the filming of one, directing by Ram. This movie is titled as Peranbu and popular Kollywood actress Anjali is playing the female lead in it. Ram is a critically acclaimed director whose movie like Thangameenkal had got attention at the national level as well.
The second Tamil movie of Mammootty will be directed by a director who is popular through his class movies in Kollywood. His name is Seenu Ramasamy and as per reports, he had approached Mammootty with a thread some days back in Chennai. Mammootty reportedly had loved the thread and given his permission to go forward with the project. Seenu Ramasamy is now busy with his project named Dharmadurai in which Vijay Sethypathy is playing the lead. Only after that project, he will land on this Mammootty movie.
Peranbu will hopefully hit the screens by this year end and Seenu Ramasamy project will be a next year movie for Mammootty.
Padmapriya to make her presence felt at Bollywood as well!
