Popular South Indian Actress Padmapriya is all set to make her presence felt at Bollywood as she is making a comeback to her acting career through a Bollywood Movie. She had taken a break from her acting career after her marriage and she is now all set for a new start. The movie is titled as “The Orphan” and it will be a bilingual movie. The movie will speak Bengali and Hindi at the same time. Renjan Palith who shot to fame through the critically acclaimed movie Sath Khoon Maf is directing this flick in which acclaimed actor Naseerudheen Shah’s son Vivaan Shah is playing the male lead. Mollywood actress Malavika Menon and Kollywood actress Kamalini Mukharjree also playing important roles in this movie.
Padmapriya acted in one Bollywood movie in 2010. It is the movie named Striker in which south Indian Actor Sidharth played the male lead and it was a sports drama directed by Chandan Arora. Padmapriya had made her debut here in Malayalam Cinema by playing the female lead opposite Mammootty in the critically acclaimed movie named Kazhcha, directed by Blessey. She had acted with Mollywood superstars like Mohanlal, Prithvi Raj etc as well and she had done many Tamil movies too.
She had appeared in an item song as well here in Mollywood, through the movie named Bachelor Party directed by Amal Neerad. After that, she was not seen much frequently in Mollywood films.
