What Mohanlal have to say about Mammootty starrer Kunjali Marakkar IV?
Superstar Mohanlal is all set to do the biggest film in Malayalam this year, titled Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham. It will be a 100 crore budget movie directed by Priyadarshan, based on the life of the legendary historical character named Kunjali Marakkar. But the interesting thing is that Mammootty too said to be playing the same character in another movie titled Kunjali Marakkar IV, directed by Santhosh Sivan.
When media asked Mohanlal about this development, Mohanlal said that he can’t talk about it because he has not spoken about this movie to Mammootty. Mohanlal said that, when Priyadarshan asked Santhosh Sivan about this project, Santhosh Sivan said that he is not doing this movie soon. That is why Priyadarshan decided to start their film this year. Mohanlal said that they will start filming their movie on the 1st of November this year.
He said that they are planning to make it like an international film with a pan Indian appeal. It will have actors from Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Chinese, and Arabic languages in it and this movie will be a made as a multilingual film as well.
Meanwhile, There are also reports that August Cinema, the production house which announced Kunjali Marakkar IV with Mammootty in the lead will go forward with their project and will release an animation teaser soon.
