Mammootty starrer The Great Father to get a record release in Kerala!
Mammootty starrer movie The Great Father is now this year’s one of the most anticipated movies in Mollywood. This family thriller has been written and directed by debutant Haneef Adeni and it is bankrolled by August Cinemas, of which Young Super Star Prithviraj Sukumaran is a co-owner. This film was expected to hit the screens in last year Christmas season, but due to various reasons, the release postponed to January first and then on to March 30. Now, a report is coming in that this film will get a huge release here in Kerala and it will be the biggest release till now in Mammootty’s career.
Reports suggest that around 150 screens will be there for this movie in Kerala. Mammootty’s biggest release till date was Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja which released in 2009. It was released in and around 120+ screens here in Kerala.

The biggest Malayalam release ever in Mollywood was Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan which had released in 214 screens here and the second biggest record release was also a Mohanlal movie named Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, which had got more than 160+ screens here.
The Great Father will have a huge release in Tamil Nadu as well as it has artists like Arya, Sneha, and Sham from Kollywood in it.
