We want Lucifer to be a quality film as well as a feast for Mohanlal fans, says Murali Gopi

It was last year, a big announcement was made in Mollywood – Lucifer. Lucifer, the directional debut movie of Prithviraj with Superstar Mohanlal in the lead and written by talented Murali Gopi is now always a talk of the social media ever since its announcement. The movie will be bankrolled by Aashirvad Cinemas.

Fans themselves created posters as well as motion posters and even screened the motion posters in theaters. This shows how much fans are waiting for this movie. Now, the screenwriter of the movie Murali Gopi says that they are planning to start shooting the movie by March 2018. In an interview with a national newspaper, he says more about Lucifer and Mohanlal.

“Mohanlal is the biggest superstar ever from the Malayalam film industry. So, to get to work with him is a dream come true. While being a feast for his fans, we also want Lucifer to be a quality film.”, says Murali Gopi.

Murali Gopi added that nowadays it is more difficult to come with a suitable character that would appeal to the star as well as the actor in Mohanlal. That’s what Murali and team want to accomplish with Lucifer.

Scriptwriter says, “It’s like hosting an emperor in your home and you have to be prepared for that – creatively and emotionally.”

Murali Gopi also said that there is a challenge in satiating Mohanlal’s massive fan base without compromising on content.
