Kunjiramayanam director to come up with Godha next!
Kunjiramayanam was one of the surprise hits of last year. The film had finished in the second spot behind Mohanlal- Renjith team’s movie Loham in the Onam race last year and it had surpassed many other big movies like Double Barrel, Uttopyayile Rajavu and Jamna pyaari to become a surprise winner. The flick was directed by Basil Joseph, a debutant, who had earlier made some popular short films. Kunjiramayanam had artists like Vineeth Sreenivasan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav etc in the lead roles and Biju Menon played a cameo appearance in it as well. Basil Joseph had announced his next project almost 3 months back and it is titled as Godha, a film based on wrestling.
Tovino Thomas is playing the male lead in this movie and he will be playing a wrestler in this flick. He was going through a great fitness oriented programs to make his body looks fit for this character and one of his working out photo from the gym had gone viral in social media as well. As per reports, the film will be start rolling from this month end and most of its part will be shot in Punjab. Renji Panicker also playing an important role in this movie and it will be bankrolled by E4 Entertainment. Rakesh Mantodi had written the screenplay of this movie, who had earlier written the screenplay of Vineeth Sreenivasan movie named Thira.
