It’s raining records in Bollywood, Sultan ruling Indian Cinema!
Sultan, the Salman khan starrer which released on July 6 is on the way to becoming the biggest ever success in Indian Cinema. As of now, the top 3 grossers in Indian cinema is Aamir Khan’s PK (750 crores from worldwide), Salman Khan’s Bhajrangi Bhaijan (640 crores from worldwide) and Baahubali (600 crores from worldwide). Looking at the way Sultan going in box office, it seems that it may break all those above mentioned records in Indian Cinema. This Ali Abbaz Zafar directorial movie had raked in 250 crores+ from 5 days from its worldwide run. It had got more than 180 crores+ from India alone in 5 day time.
Another record it created was that it grossed more than 30 crores+ in five consecutive days from the domestic market. On the first day, it got above 36 crores. The Second Day and 3rd Day contributed 37 crores+ and 31 crores+ each. The fourth day witnessed a gross around 36 crores and on the fifth day, the movie raked in 38 crores+ as well. Thus, it created a never seen before phenomenon in Indian Box office. The overseas market also contributed near 80 crores from first five days and it is expected that when the first week is over, the film will get near 220 crores from India alone and more than 100 crores from overseas. It will cross the 300 crore mark in its first week itself as per things are going now.
