Now using the latest version of Google Wallet app you can send money to anyone in your contact list through text message. Yes, you heard it right! Google Wallet can transfer money instantly via text and is available for both Android as well as iOS device.
The recipient will get a text with a secure link that can be used to retrieve money instantly by entering their account/debit card details. Google Wallet is not necessary to receive the cash. Through this app, users can also request for money.
Earlier version requires email address of the recipient to send money. Now, the latest update is slowly rolling out to both iOS and Android as per Google.
