Dulquer Salmaan to challenge Nivin Pauly in Kollywood as well!
Young Mollywood Star Dulquer Salmaan had made his own space here in Malayalam film industry and he is now all set to make his own market in Kollywood as well just like Nivin Pauly did. Nivin Pauly, after getting many followers there in Kollywood with the success of Premam, had committed 3-4 Tamil films and in this year he will have two Tamil films as per reports. Both will be with debutant directors.
Dulquer Salmaan had already made his Kollywood debut through a big movie named OK Kanmani, which was scripted and directed by none other than master director Mani Ratnam. It had become a box office success and Dulquer had got great appreciation from all over for his performance in the movie as well. Now, a report is coming in that he is going to do his next Tamil movie with a debutant director named Ra Karthik. If it happens, there will be a box office fight between Dulquer and Nivin in Kollywood as well.
As per reports, it will be a romantic travel movie just like Bollywood movies named Highway and Jab We Met and there will be three heroines for Dulquer Salmaan in the movie. Megha Akash who acted in Dhanush’s Ennai Nokki Paayum Thottai and Nivetha Pethuraj who shot to fame through Oru Naal Koothu has been approached by the team behind this movie to play the female lead characters. The official announcement of this project is expected to come soon.
