Bollywood suits me more than Mollywood, says Dulquer Salmaan

Young Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan is now filming for his second Bollywood titled Zoya Factor. The flick will have Sonam Kapoor playing the titular character and Dulquer will be seen playing Indian cricket team captain in this movie. Now, he had said in a recent media interview that as an actor Bollywood suits him more than Mollywood or any other film industry.

Dulquer talked about this in the audio show ‘Take 2 with Anupama and Rajeev‘, for the music app Saavn. He explains his statement as well in this show. (Check out the full audio show on Saavn Mobile App – Click here)

He says that the assistant directors and crew members of Bollywood movies are just like him. They were born and brought up in big cities and they travel a lot. Even the films they watch, the book they read etc were very similar to his taste. But in small industries, these type of people he can relate with is less in number.

Dulquer’s first Bollywood movie was Karwaan which was released in this year August. It was a box office failure even though the flick had got critical appreciation. For his latest Hindi movie named Zoya Factor, Dulquer had learned cricket and the video of him practicing cricket went in social media as well.

His upcoming films will be Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and Vaan in Tamil and Oru Yamandan Prema Kadha in Malayalam. Oru Yamandan Prema Kadha will be released in next summer and before that, one of his Tamil movies will grace the screens.
