Thumbs Up for Randamoozham project; Mohanlal – MT Vasudevan Nair Movie to start roll from 2018!
The Universal Star of Mollywood, Mohanlal, is all set to write a new history in Indian Cinema. The Superstar made a big announcement through an interview given to Manorama News channel that the magnum opus movie named Randamoozham written by Master Writer MT Vasudevan Nair will start rolling from next year. Mohanlal will play the central character of Bheema in this epic movie. Mohanlal said that MT Vasudevan Nair had already completed the screenplay of this movie and he had handed over the first draft of the screenplay to him the other day.
M.T’s Randamoozham is widely considered as his masterpiece and the novel is based on Mahabharatha told in the perspective of Bheema. Mohanlal said that Randamoozham will be an international production and it will have two parts. The total budget of the movie is estimated to be 500 to 600 crores and if it is the case, then it will be the biggest budget movie ever in Indian Cinema History. It should be noted that the cast and crew for the movie is not yet finalized and it will be updated later. Some years back reports came that this movie will be directed by Hariharan. But later Hariharan said that he is backing out from the project. Then came a report that it will be directed by Sreekumar, a popular ad film maker.
One thing is sure that it will be a multi-lingual movie and major stars from different film industries will be a part of this movie as well. Big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Vikram, Nagarjuna, Aishwarya Rai etc are coming in through different media reports as a part of the cast list of this project.
