Tovino Thomas coming up with two big releases next month
Young star Tovino Thomas is coming up with two of his much-anticipated films next month. The first release will be Maradona and the second one will be Theevandi. Both these films have been directed by newcomers and produced by popular production houses.
Maradona has been directed by the newcomer named Vishnu Narayanan and it has been produced by Sukumaran Thekkepattu under the banner of Mini Studio. New face Sharanya is playing the female lead in this movie and Chemban Vinod, Tito Wilson, Kichu Tellus and Leona Lishoy also play important characters in it. This film will grace the screens on 22nd June. Even though the title of the film is Maradona, it will have nothing to do with Football. It is a romantic thriller.
One week after the release of Maradona, his next film named Theevandi will also be released. It has been directed by Fellini and produced by August Cinemas. This movie is more like a social satire and the songs from this movie had already gained super hits status. New face Samyuktha Menon plays the female lead in it and artists like Suraj Venjaramoodu and Siaju Kurup too plays important characters in this flick.
Tovino Thomas is now busy with an untitled Malayalam movie and Maari 2 in Tamil in which he is playing the villain. There were reports that Tovino may play an important character in Mohanlal starrer movie Lucifer, which will be directed by Prithviraj.
