Pulimurugan created All-Time Record by surpassing Jacobinte Swargarajyam at Ernakulam Multiplexes!
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan had created another history in Mollywood as it had surpassed the record set by Nivin Pauly starrer movie Jacobinte Swargarajyam at Ernakulam multiplexes last day. Jacobinte Swargarajyam was the highest grossing Malayalam movie there with a gross of 2.94 crores and Pulimurugan had surpassed that figure in just 27 day time from there and now sitting at the top of the table. Hollywood movie named Jungle Book is the highest grosser ever from there which got around 3.72 crores from its lifetime run at Ernakulam multiplexes.

Pulimurugan will soon become the first Malayalam movie to gross 3 crores from Ernakulam multiplexes as well. Apart from the multiplexes of Ernakulam, it had created records in screens like Ernakulam Kavitha, Tripunithura Central, Edappally Vanitha etc. The film is still having regular shows there with Houseful status. Even after having this much shows and record collection in the screens in and around the city, it became a record breaker in multiplexes in such a quick time and that is just incredible. Jungle Book had a run of 100 days there and the ticket charges are quite high for the movie as well, as it was 3D movie. So, everyone hopes that Pulimurugan can surpass Jungle Book record too at Ernakulam multiplexes.
