Madhupal’s next is not with Mammootty. Then what about Karnan?
Karnan from Prithviraj – RS Vimal team and Karnnan from Mammootty- Madhupal team, are the talking point of social Media for the last few days as so many rumors are doing its round related to these two projects. At first, a rumor came that Mammootty had dropped the plan to do the character named Karnnan in order to avoid an unnecessary competition with Young Star Prithviraj Sukumaran. Then, writer of Mammootty – Madhupal team’s Karnan, P Sreekumar came out and said that the project is not dropped and it will start soon as it is in its pre-production stage now. He also said that it will be made using a budget of 70 crores. Then came a rumor that Prithviraj’s Karnnan is in trouble as there happened a difference of opinion between RS Vimal and the producer over the budget. But RS Vimal comes out and said that the pre-production works are on and they will start the filming from next year March. Now, a report is coming in that Madhupal is doing another project next year and Karnan with Mammootty in the lead will be delayed.
Madupal will do a segment in the anthology movie named Crossroad with Padmapriya. It will be titled as Oru Rathriyude Kooli and written by PF Mathews. Then he will do a movie based on Sundariyamma Murder case written by Jeevan Job Thomas and Biju Menon may play the lead in it. He will think about Karnan only after finishing these two projects.
