Oppam vs Pulimurugan box office fight getting hotter: Oppam crossed 50 crores Mark!
Now Mollywood is witnessing a Mohanlal vs Mohanlal fight at the box office. Mohanlal’s Onam release Oppam had become an all -time blockbuster and while it was running with packed houses all over, there came another film from him named Pulinurugan. Pulimurugan is now thrashing each and every box office records in Mollywood one by one and that too in an unbelievable pace. Now, the fight is between Oppam and Pulimurugan in box office to outsmart one another. Meanwhile, Oppam has crossed a milestone last day as it had grossed 50 crores from its worldwide run in 39 days.

Thus Oppam had become the fastest Mollywood movie to touch that magical mark of 50 crores and also become the second solo 50 crores grosser of Mohanlal. He is the only actor to do so in Malayalam as his Drishyam was the first ever Malayalam movie to do so. Drishyam had grossed above 66 crores from its worldwide run. But Puli Murugan is chasing both these movies and as per the trend which is going on, it will surely break all the records set by Drishyam and Oppam in Mollywood. It will reach the 50 crore mark soon as well and will become the 3rd movie of Mohanlal to do so.
