Odiyan surpasses 2.0 to become the most awaited Indian movie in IMDB list
The Complete Actor Mohanlal’s Odiyan had created a new history in Mollywood as it had become the first ever Malayalam Movie to top the IMBD list of Most anticipated Indian movies. IMDB creates a list based on the real-time popularity of movies in India and in that list Odiyan had surpassed Enthiran 2, the biggest movie made in India.
Yesterday, Odiyan was at the 4th position in this list, behind Enthiran 2, Zero and KGF. Today Odiyan had surpassed all these three films to reach the top. This shows the craze for Odiyan in India, especially in the southern part of India. Mohanlal’s fabulous popularity too made this possible.
Surpassing biggies like Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero and Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is a big thing and for Mollywood, it is like a dream come true. Once again, a Mohanlal movie made it possible for Mollywood. Odiyan now had more than 40% of top 10 page views in that list and it seems that this flick will remain at the top till its release.
Enthiran 2 aka 2.0 will release on this coming 29th and after that, the main fight for the top spot will be between Odiyan and Zero till December 14th. Odiyan will release globally on that day. VA Shrikumar Menon had directed this flick and it was bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor.
