Mohanlal movie Oppam rocking Kerala Box office!
Mohanlal starrer crime thriller movie Oppam had released on the 8th September this year. This flick has been written and directed by Priyadarshan and getting excellent reviews from all over and from every corner where the film got released. Mohanlal’s performance as the blind man named Jayaraman is receiving thunderous applause from the audience and critics alike. All critics had given thumbs up for the movie and audience also unanimous in the opinion that Oppam is the best thriller that released in Mollywood in last few years. Maybe after Drishyam and Ennu Ninte Moideen, no other films had got such a great positive report here in Kerala. The movie is rocking the box office as well by creating new records.
The film had earned 1.56 crore from its first day even after facing great competition from Prithviraj- Jeethu Joseph team’s Oozham and Vikram starrer Tamil film Iru Mugan. The positive mouth publicity had spread all over after the very first shows on that day and the crowd began to rush in to watch the movie in uncontrollable numbers. As per reports the movie had grossed more on its second day than its first day. Reports say that on its second day it had grossed around 1.8 crores. Third-day collection is around 1.9 crores. That means 3 days gross can easily surmount 5 crores mark.
Anyway, Oppam is moving towards the biggest hit in Priyadarshan’s career and this year in Mollywood.
