Kabali created new record at Ernakulam Multiplexes!
Yesterday was Kabali day for the film lovers in India and Super Star Rajinikanth starrer movie Kabali had graced the screens all over the globe last day. The flick, which was scripted and directed by Madras movie fame Pa Renjith had created a mixed response from the audience. Those who expected a complete mass Rajinikanth film got disappointed and those who expected a realistic and class film from Pa Renjith got satisfied as well. But, nothing can stop Rajinikanth from making box office records and in Kerala too he started to create records with Kabali. The first record Kabali created here was in the multiplexes of Ernakulam.
Yesterday alone, the film had 95 shows there and it was a record surpassing the previous best of the movie Action Hero Biju, which had only 59 shows there. Out of the 95 shows, 93 shows were houseful for Kabali and the occupancy rate was 99.97%. That was another record as well. Records it made there did not end with that, as the film had earned a record amount of 30.21 Lakhs from the multiplexes of Ernakulam and thus became the first ever movie to do so, on its first day itself from there. As per reports, the booking for the second day also looking great even after the mixed reviews.
