Kabali set a new history at the multiplexes of Ernakulam!
Kabali, the super star Rajinikanth starrer continues to make records in Kerala and it had set a new record here now. A new history has been made at the multiplexes of Ernakulam by this Pa Renjith- Rajinikanth movie. The film had become the fastest movie to cross 1 crore mark from Ernakulam multiplexes. Kabali had crossed 1 crore mark from there in just 6 days and it had broken the record set by Dulquar Salman’s Charlie and Nivin Pauly’s Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam, which crossed the 1 crore mark from there, in 9 day time. Kabali had got around 81 lakhs from there on its first weekend and then showed a drop in the collection when working days got started. But still, it got more than 20 lakhs from next 3 days from there. The Tamil film which collected maximum from there is Vikram’s “I” and the lifetime figure of “I” from there is only around 1.2 crore. Now it is almost sure that Kabali will surpass that record too in quick time.
The flick had earned more than 12 crores from its 6 days run in Kerala and from India alone it had got more than 160 crores from 6 days. The worldwide figure of the movie from 6 days had crossed 270 crores and it will surpass the 300 crore mark soon as well.
