Unannounced Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Images leaked by tipster

Redmi Note 2, the upcoming phone from the Chinese Company Xiaomi Inc, is expected to be announced on August 13th. Before the event, the pictures have been leaked by a Chinese tipster @KJuma. Two pictures were leaked including the phone displaying the about section in the settings as well as the package of the phone.
By this particular leak, earlier rumors about the specifications of the device seem to match. The “About Device” clearly shows that the device is “Redmi Note 2”. Xiaomi was about to unveiling MiUi 7 along with this device. But the leaked picture shows that it runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop underneath MiUi 6.6.4.0 and not MiUi 7. The device comes with a 16 GB storage out of which 10.82 GB is accessible. Also, it has a ram of 2GB and CPU clocked at a frequency of 2.0 Ghz.
From the earlier rumors, it seemingly has 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Also expecting 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It is powered by a strong battery having a capacity of 3100mAh. Many report shows that the users are supposed to choose two different variants of device – one with a Snapdragon 615 SoC and other being MediaTek MT6795 chipset. Both the variants would be priced differently. Earlier rumors were that the device would cost $128 USD and now increased to a higher price of $177USD. Many reports also saying that Xiaomi would launch the device on August 16th rather than 13th. Remember, these are all rumors and only by the next week we can confirm.
