Yatra slated to release on Sankranti 2019; Mammootty will lock horns with Balakrishna, Mahesh Babu, and Ram Charan
With Yatra, Mammootty is coming back to Telugu Cinema after several years. This Mahi Raghav directional movie is the biopic of late Andra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. The makers have started the shooting of this movie. Now, the reports coming in that Mammootty’s Yatra has to face some biggies at Tollywood Box Office.
Yatra team revealed that shooting of the film is expected to finish by September and is planning to release the movie on January next year on the occasion of Sankranti. Telugu Superstars Balakrishna, Mahesh Babu, and Ram Charan too have films scheduled on Sankranti 2019. All these movies are big budget and that will be big challenge for Mammootty starrer Yatra.
Although there will be big box office clash, makers of Yatra are not worried about that. Yatra team believes that Telugu people are excited to know less known interesting facts about YSR’s life. That together with the powerful performance of an actor like Mammootty will attract the audience.
Meanwhile, Mammootty got a grand welcome from the makers of Yatra on the sets. 70MM Entertainments, the producers of Yatra, shared a video of Mammootty’s grand entry to Yatra set.
