Will Mammootty do the lead role in the movie based on Ithikkara Pakki?
Rosshan Andrrews directorial flick Kayamkulam Kochunni starring Nivin Pauly and Mohanlal is going great at the box office. It already grossed around 50 crore its worldwide run till now. Nivin Pauly played the title character and Mohanlal played an extended cameo as Ithikkara Pakki. Now, a report is coming in that Mammootty is interested to play Ithikkara Pakki in a movie based on it.
Rosshan Andrrews said in a recent media interview that a full movie based on this character named Ithikkara Pakki will happen. The possibility of such a film was found by Mammootty and he said that to Anto Joseph, the producer. Anto Joseph had spoken about it to Rosshan Andrrews as well.
Even though Rosshan did not say that he is going to make Ithikkara Pakki with Mammootty in the lead, reports spreading in social media that Mammootty may play the lead in this movie if it happens. Mohanlal had given a sterling performance as Ithikkara Pakki in Kayamkulam Kochunni and it is the major highlight of this movie as well.
People and trade pundits are of the opinion that it was the performance and presence of Mohanlal that made this movie a huge success and his portrayal of Ithikkara Pakki has been legendary in all sense. Now, we have to see who is going to play the lead in a movie fully based on this character, if Rosshan Andrrews make it.
