Bilal will happen next year, says Amal Neerad
Mammootty fans and Mollywood film lovers are eagerly waiting for the updates on the project named Bilal, which will be the sequel of Big B, one of the most celebrated movies in Mega Star Mammootty’s career. Amal Neerad, the director of this movie said that the project will happen most probably next year.
Amal Neerad had made his debut as a director through Big B. Even though it was a box office failure at that time, it got great popularity through the mini screen and the central character named Bilal played by Mammootty had got a great fan following.
Last year, an announcement came that a sequel to this movie will happen and it has been titled as Bilal. But after that, there were no updates about the project. Now, Amal Neerad himself said to media that the project is shaping up and he will begin the filming only after completing the screenplay satisfactorily.
As of now, they are planning to start the film in the second half of 2019. Amal Neerad’s latest release named Varathan with Fahadh Faasil in the lead become a blockbuster hit. There are reports that he is planning a movie with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead as well. He had done the DOP of Anwar Rasheed-Fahadh Faasil movie Trance, which will grace the screens next year.
