Will Alphonse Puthran join hands with Mammootty for his next?
Alphonse Puthran had directed only two movies in his career and those two movies had made him one of the most sought after director here in Mollywood. He had directed movies like Neram and Premam and both of them had young star Nivin Pauly in the lead role. Neram was a bilingual movie and it was a box office success. Then came Premam in 2015 and it was an all-time biggest blockbuster in Mollywood and it also ran 250 days in Chennai as well. Then came a news that Alphonse Puthran is all set to make a movie with Mohanlal next year. After that, a report came that he will be making a Hindi movie next, which will be the remake of his Neram or Premam. Now, another report coming in that he may be joined hands with mega star Mammootty for his next. This unconfirmed report says that it will be a big budget movie and it will be a bilingual movie as well.

Official confirmation about the project had not yet come. Reports suggest that it will begin once Mammootty finishes his Puthan Panam with Renjith and untitled Shyam Dhar Movie. Mammootty’s next release will be The Great Father and then he will have a Tamil release named Peranbu as well in February.
