Mayavi team to unite again for an action-comedy with Mammootty in the lead!
We already know that director Shafi had got the date of Mega Star Mammootty again. But the starting of their project was delayed due to some prior commitments of Mammootty and later Sahfi too became busy with other projects.
As per the latest reports that are coming in, Shafi-Mammootty movie may start rolling from the end of this year or by next year beginning. Rafi will write the screenplay for this movie and it will be an action-comedy movie, just like their previous movies like Thommanum Makkalum, Mayavi, and Chattambinadu.
Mayavi is the most popular movie from this team, which was released in the year 2007.It was one among the biggest hits of that year as well. Rafi- Mecartin team had written the screenplay for this Shafi directorial Mammootty movie named Mayavi. The title character of Mayavi aka Mahi is still one among the most popular characters in Mammootty’s entire career.
Shafi is now fining up the works of his upcoming release named Sherlock Toms, in which Biju Menon is playing the lead character. This movie may grace the screens in this coming October as well. Shafi – Rafi team worked together last time in Two Countries released in 2015. Popular actor Dileep played the lead character in that movie.
