“FAFA, You Are From Another Planet!”, Vignesh Shivan Praises Fahadh Faasil’s “Aavesham”
Popular filmmaker Vignesh Shivan has taken to social media to express his admiration for the recently released Malayalam action-comedy film ‘Aavesham,’ starring Fahadh Faasil (FAFA) in the lead role. The film, which has been garnering rave reviews since its release, has now crossed the Rs. 60 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
Vignesh, who is known for his own directorial prowess, was particularly impressed by Fahadh Faasil’s performance in the film. He wrote on Instagram, “Blown away by this wackyyyy outstanding movie! FAFA aiyaaa you are from another planet!!! Crazily written, amazingly executed! Malayalam cinema is just smashing everything out of the park! ‘Aavesham’ narrates the story of three college students who face challenges from their seniors and realize they need local support to overcome them. Their quest leads them to Ranga, a gangster portrayed by Fahadh Faasil. The film has garnered praise for its action sequences, comedy, and Faasil’s performance.
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, who made his debut last year with ‘Romancham,’ the movie also features Sajin Gopu as Amban, Hipszter as Aju, Mithun Jai Shankar as Bibi, Roshan Shahnavaz as Shanthan, Mansoor Ali Khan as Reddy, Midhutty as Kutty, and Ashish Vidyarthi in a cameo appearance as the college executive director. Sushin Shyam composed the music, while Sameer Thahir and Vivek Harshan handled cinematography and editing respectively. ‘Aavesham’ is poised to become Fahadh’s biggest solo hit yet and is a must-watch for fans of action, comedy, and Fahadh’s remarkable acting skills.
