Mohanlal is very special and magical and it’s very difficult to remake his films, says Venkatesh
Telugu Superstar Venkatesh is now doing the Telugu remake of Super Hit Dhanush- Vetrimaran movie Asuran, which was a critically acclaimed film as well. In a recent interview with Cinema Vikatan channel, Venkitesh opens about the challenges of doing remake films.
He said that he had done many remakes in his career and he had remade films of Rajnikanth, Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, Surya, Vikram, Madhavan, Mammootty, Murali, etc and tried to do justice to those films by playing the lead characters in his own style. But he says that he never tries to remake Mohanlal movies, as it is very difficult to act like him.
Venkatesh says that Mohanlal is very special and unique and the magic he creates with his body language is just amazing. Venkitesh said that he dared to remake Drishyam only because of the novelty of its plot and otherwise never dare to remake a Mohanlal movie. Venkatesh says that he respects Mohanlal a lot.
Earlier too Venkatesh said that the easiness in Mohanlal’s acting and the perfection he brings to his characters is just fabulous and no one can come close to him in that respect.
