Udayanidhi Stalin, Namitha Pramod and Samuthirakani in Priyadrashan’s Maheshinte Prathikaram Tamil remake!
A few days back actor Udayanidhi Stalin tweeted about his next project. The movie will be directed by master director Priyadarshan and will be the Tamil remake of 2016 blockbuster Malayalam movie Maheshinte Prathikaram.
As per the reports, the movie will have Mollywood Actress Namitha Pramod playing the lead female role. Reports also say that National award winning actor Samuthirakani will essay the main villain role.
This untitled movie will be not the exact copy of original Maheshinte Prathikaram. The movie will be scripted considering the tastes of Tamil audience.
The original movie was the directional debut of actor Dileesh Pothan and Fahad Fazil played the lead role of a Photographer. The movie was scripted by Syam Pushkaran. The movie also helps him to win the State Award as well as National Award for the Best Screenplay. The movie also won National Award for the Best Feature Film in Malayalam.
Priyadarshan made a grand comeback last year through Mohanlal starrer Malayalam blockbuster movie Oppam. Now, he is making his next movie in Tamil with actor Udayanidhi Stalin playing the lead.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the Tamil remake of Maheshinte Prathikaram is expected to begin from July end.
