Toshiba introduced its new Satellite Radius 12 Laptop at IFA. Satellite Radius 12 is the first 4K display laptop with a 12.5-inch display. The keyboard of this laptop has led backlit. Hinges can be rotated 360 degrees enable us to use the laptop as a tablet. This is almost similar to Lenovo Yoga.
In convertible laptops, we often get lower resolution displays and low-power processors. But this is not the case with the Satellite Radius 12. It runs Windows 10 and features sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor, also known by the code name Skylake.
It has an optional 3840 x 2160 pixel IPS touchscreen display. The standard resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixel. Interestingly the display has Gorilla Glass protection, and the body of the laptop is protected by an aluminum chassis.
Other high-end features about the laptop include Harman Kardon speakers and up to 512GB of SSD storage.
It also features a full-size HDMI port, two USB ports, and a USB Type-C port. This convertible laptop will be a good choice for movie lovers as well as photographers.
The price of this product is yet to be announced. This 4K display 12.5-inch convertible laptop will be available in the US/UK market by the end of this year.
