Thoppil Joppan 5 day Kerala collection report: Decent run in Kerala!
Pulimurugan storm had hit Kerala and it is continuing with rewriting history in Mollywood. Everyone is talking about Pulimurugan and among all this frenzy, Mammootty starrer Thoppil Joppan is also holding well and having a decent box office run here in Kerala now. The flick is attracting the family audience well and as per the latest reports coming in from trade guides in our industry, the film had grossed around 6.64 crores in 5 days run here in Kerala. It had earned a share of 3.16 crore as well.
Thoppil Joppan is directed by Johny Antony and produced by Noushad Muhammad under the banner of Grande Film Corporation. Nishad Koya had written the screenplay of this family comedy entertainer and Vidya Sagar had composed the music for this film. It had two heroines in it and they are Mamta Mohandas and Andrea Jeremiah. Mammootty played an Achayan character in this fun movie and it has elements in it to attract the fans of Mammootty as well.
The production coast of the movie is 6 crore rupees and it will have to touch a figure around 12-13 crore to earn a hit status. Let’s hope that family support will help the movie to get a long run and a good profit from theaters alone.
