Shaji Kailas to make a comeback through a Mohanlal movie next year!
We saw the comeback of two directors in Mollywood this year and that too in grand fashion. Yes, we are talking about Priyadarshan and Vysakh who had made a terrific comeback this year from a lean patch of their career. The one who becomes instrumental in their comeback is none other than Complete Actor Mohanlal who played the lead in both of their movies. Priyadarshan had made his comeback through the Mohanlal starrer named Oppam which released in this year Onam season and Vysakh had made his comeback through Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan which had already become the highest grosser ever in the history of Mollywood. Oppam is now the 5th highest grosser in Mollywood as well. Both Priyadarshan and Vysakh had suffered back to back failures before they made a movie with Mohanlal this year. Now, another master director who has been going through a terrible patch in his career, is all set to make a comeback next year with a movie in which Mohanlal is playing the lead. We are talking about Shaji Kailas.
Ashirvad Cinemas will bankroll this Shaji Kailas – Mohanlal movie and reports says that Benny P Nayarambalam will write the screenplay for this movie. Some reports say that the movie will start in the coming January as well.
