Mohanlal-Shaji Kailas movie to grace the screens on Narasimham day?
We had reported earlier that Complete Actor Mohanlal and Master Director Shaji Kailas is all set to join hands again for a movie and it will be scripted by Renji Panicker. Antony Perumbavoor will bankroll this movie under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas and as per sources close to them, the screenplay of this Mohanlal-Shaji Kailas movie is in its finishing stages and they want to start the movie this year itself. They had plans to start the film in this coming October and an unconfirmed report says that they have plans to release the movie on January 26th, 2018. For Mohanlal fans, it is the Narasimham day, on which one of the biggest box office success in Mohanlal’s career has been released.
Narasimham directed by Shaji Kailas with Mohanlal in the lead was the debut production venture of Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. Narasimham was released in the year 2000 and it had graced the screens on January 26. It was an industry hit here in Mollywood at that time and became one among the most celebrated movies in Mohanlal’s career as well.
It has been re-released several times later and it is the movie which got re-release here in Kerala the most number of times. On next year January 26th, the movie will celebrate the 18th anniversary of its release and Shaji Kailas-Antony Perumbavoor team wants to release their new movie on that day as per reports.
