Pulimurugan surpassed Drishyam show count record too!

Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starrer historical Blockbuster had hunted down another big box office record as well last day as it surpassed the all-time biggest record held by Drishyam, related to the show count of Mollywood movies in A Class theaters in Kerala. Mohanlal starrer movie Drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph, which released in the year 2013 had got 26K+ shows from A Class theaters here in Kerala. The second best was Premam, which got around 22K shows from here. These were the only two films in Mollywood which got more than 20K+ shows from A Class theaters in Kerala. Now, Pulimurugan had crossed Drishyam Show count in just 48 days and it had almost reached near 27K shows from the A Class theaters in Kerala.

The movie still has 430+ shows here per day and expected to have around 35K+ shows from the A Class theaters alone from Kerala. It also all set to surpass another record which is in the hands of Drishyam. Drishyam had completed 50 days run in 75 screens here in Kerala and it is an all-time record in Mollywood. Pulimurugan will complete 50 days run here in Kerala in more than 100 screens tomorrow and surpass Drishyam record with a big margin of lead. The worldwide gross of the movie had already reached near 120 crores as well.
