It’s Official Now: Pulimurugan becomes the New Industry Hit in Mollywood Surpassing Drishyam!
A new Industry Hit is born in Mollywood after 3 years and once again it is Mohanlal who made the new industry hit here. Mohanlal movie Drishyam which released in 2013 December, was the industry hit in Mollywood since then. It had earned around a total Kerala gross of 44 cr+. Now, Pulimurugan had crossed 45 crores from just 17 days to become the undisputed King of Bollywood successes. It is the fastest ever industry hit as well in Mollywood as it took only 17 days to surpass the previous record. The film is now moving towards 60 crores in its all India theater collection as well.
It has been released in USA last Friday and getting record breaking opening there as well. The collection report will come soon. The film will hit the screens in Europe and GCC countries in the first week of November and expected to create records there too. As of Now, the film had done a business around 73 crores as it had earned around 15 crores from its pre-release business. The Telugu dubbed version of the film will hit screens soon as well and now it is almost sure that Pulimurugan will become the first ever film from Mollywood to do 100 crores total business or maybe 100 crores theater gross alone.
