Pulimurugan becomes the first Movie to complete 40 Thousand Shows in Kerala!
The historical run which started on the 7th October 2016, is still continuing and each and every day, this movie is creating new records. Yes, we are talking once again about Pulimurugan and this film never allows us to stop talking about it. Now, it had become the first ever Malayalam movie (also any language movie in Kerala) to complete 40 thousand shows in A Class theaters here in Kerala and that is a stunning achievement by any standard here in Kerala.
We only have 520 screens here in the state. Every month there will be at least 4-5 releases including big other language releases. Even after all this, if a Malayalam movie completes a whopping 40 thousand shows from A class theaters alone, it has to be summed up in just one word, magical.

When we look at the second best, it was Drishyam, another Mohanlal starrer which had completed 26 thousand shows 3 years back. Now the difference between Pulimurugan and Drishyam show count is more than 14 thousand, which is a number of shows which a blockbuster movie usually completes here.

That is what makes this record unique and fabulous. Pulimurugan is still running in A class theaters here along with many numbers of B class centers. The final show count of this movie when it ends its run here will be whopping.
