Pulimurugan created new milestones in Kerala Box office!

The Pulimurugan storm is continuing in Kerala box office despite the release of many other movies and issues like demonetization. It is continuing with making new records in Mollywood box office and the Kerala gross of the movie is on its way to touch the 80 crore mark as well. Now, it had made a few new records here as well. The biggest of them all is that it had completed 30000 shows in the A Class theaters in Kerala and that too in just 56 day time. It is the first ever movie to do so in Kerala as well. The previous best was Mohanlal’s own Drishyam, which had more than 26600 shows from the A Class theaters here. Drishyam had recorded that number of shows in 150+ days run.

The second record Pulimurugan made last week is that it had become an all-time highest grosser in Calicut city by grossing over 3.11 crore from Calicut City alone. The flick had earned more than 1.26 crores from PVS film City and more than 1.85 crores from single screens of Calicut. From Coronation, Radha and Sree, it had earned more than 1.85 crores and Puli Murugan is the highest single screen grosser from Calicut City as well. The third big record which Pulimurugan got last week is that it had become the first ever movie to gross 4 crores from the multiplexes of Ernakulam. It had done it in 59 days run there.
