Pulimurugan to break the record of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan in UAE!
The amazing run of Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan continues and as we reported earlier, it had done a business of more than 155 crores till now. The Kerala gross alone crossed 81 crores and the Telugu dubbed version of the movie titled as Manyam Puli is already a blockbuster there as well. The Malayalam version of the movie alone had crossed 130 crores at the worldwide box office and in January, the Tamil dubbed version will hit the screens too. It had made new milestones for Malayalam Cinema and South Indian Cinema, all over the globe in its run till now and you already know that now Pulimurugan is the highest grossing South Indian movie in UAE/GCC market. The Malayalam and Telugu version together grossed over 35 crores from there and the Malayalam version alone grossed near 33 crores. Now, the movie had completed 50 days run there and is all set to surpass the record of Salman Khan starrer Bollywood movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan which ran 77 days there.

The all-time record is still in the hands of Mohanlal as his 2013 movie Drishyam is the longest running movie in UAE/GCC market. It had run 125 days there. Other than Drishyam only the 1997 Hollywood movie Titanic completed 100 days there. Let us see whether Pulimurugan will break that record too.
