Pulimurugan becomes the First Ever Malayalam Movie to do 100 Crore Business!
At last the magical moment had blessed Malayalam Cinema and Pulimurugan starred by Mohanlal becomes the reason for it. Yes, we are talking about the 100 crore club in Mollywood and Pulimurugan had officially become the first ever Malayalam movie to do 100 crore business from Mollywood. The movie had grossed 62 crores+ in 31 days from Kerala alone. The All India gross and the USA gross of the movie together stands around 77 crores as well. The 3 day UAE/GCC figure of the movie is 13.8 crore and that makes its total gross to touch 90 crores. The film had done a pre-release business around 15 crores by selling various rights and thus the total business done by the movie till now was around 105 crore.

The collection from Europe, New Zealand, Australia and some other areas had not yet come and within a few days, it will gross 100 crores from theater collection alone for sure. It had already become the highest grossing in South Indian movie in New Zealand and on the way to becoming the highest grossing South Indian movie in UAE/GCC Market as well. It has been also got the biggest opening ever got by a Malayalam film at Europe as well. Anyway, this is a moment for celebration for Malayalam movie lovers.
