Pulimurugan all set to create a new history on its first day in Mollywood!
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan will hit the screens on the 7th October this year and everybody is eagerly waiting for the movie to grace the silver screens. This Mohanlal movie is the most anticipated Mollywood film of this year. Hit Maker Vysakh directed it based on the first independent screenplay written by Udaya Krishna. Mulakupadam Film owned by Tomichan Mulakupadam had bankrolled this big budget movie which was in its production stage for almost a year due to its big canvas. Now, Pulimurugan is all set to create history on its first day here in Mollywood.

The film will get a screen count around 180 screens minimum in Kerala and it is almost sure that Pulimurugan will set a new record related to the first-day collections here in Mollywood. Fans Association members are busy with the arrangement for Fans Show and every center will have one or two Fans shows. If the things go the right way, Pulimurugan will set a record for the most number of Fans Shows for a movie in Mollywood!
Only 5 Malayalam movies are in the list of films that had grossed more than 2 crores in its opening day itself from Kerala. 2 Mohanlal movies, 2 Dulquar Salman movies and 1 Mammootty movie in that list. Mohanlal movies like Casanova(2.02 Crore) and Loham (2.14 crore), Dulquar Movies Charlie (2.06 crore) and Kali (2.33 crore) and Mammootty movie Kasaba (2.43 crore) are those films. Kasaba holds the record of highest first day grossing Malayalam movie. Now, we have to wait and see that on what margin will Pulimurugan sets a new record here in Mollywood related to the first day collections.
