Master Director Priyadarshan is all set to strike gold at the box office with his upcoming release named Oppam, starring Complete Actor Mohanlal. The movie will hit the screens on this coming September 8th and it will be a crime thriller, a genre which is not explored much by this director till now. The trailer, songs etc of this movie had already gone viral in Social Media and people have a great level of hope for this movie now. In a recent Media interview, this master director revealed about the unfulfilled dream of his.
He said that to make a film with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead is one of his dreams and still remains unfulfilled. Priyadarshan had made many Bollywood films and he had made films with many Bollywood Super Stars like Sharukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar etc as well. But a chance to direct Amitabh Bachchan had not yet come to him. But he had made some commercials with Amitabh Bachchan. Once he expressed this wish to Big B himself and the actor said that he also wants to work with Priyadarshan in a movie. Still Priyadarshan not able to find a right story for the actor.
Priyadarshan is hopeful that all will be right and his dream will come true without much delay. The director had made more than 80 movies in his career.
