Priyadarshan to quit from Film Making?
Priyadarshan can be described as one of the most prolific and most versatile filmmakers in Indian Cinema who had directed around 90 films in his career. He had done all kinds of films and won a national award as well for a movie like Kancheevaram. He started off with comedy movies and later done action films, horror thrillers, crime thrillers, realistic offbeat movies, romantic flicks etc. His association with actor Mohanlal is well known for all and this pair can be called as the most successful actor-director pair in Indian Cinema. Their next movie is on its way titled Oppam and it will be a crime thriller. The movie will hit the screens on this coming Onam season as well. But a report doing its round in Social Media, which says that Priyadarshan to quit from Film Making in a few years from now and all set to try something different to fulfill his father’s dream.
Reports saying that he is going to take classes at Pune Film institute whenever he gets time and within a few year time he will completely stop filmmaking and become a full-time tutor at film institute. His father wanted him to become a teacher. But his dream was to become a Film Maker. He realized his dream with the blessings of his father. Now, it’s time to fulfill his father’s dream, says Priyadarshan, in an interview which he gave to a national Media.
As per reports, he will do films with Prithviraj, Mohanlal etc in Malayalam and will also do a movie with Akshay Kumar in Hindi in the near future.
