Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha is one of the latest releases here in Mollywood and it was directed by the popular director Shafi. Newcomers Binju Joseph and Sunil Karma had written the screenplay of this movie in which Bibin George is playing the male lead. Bibin George is the one who had co-written films like Amar Akbar Anthony and Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan with Vishnu Unnikrishnan. Bibin George had appeared in a few films playing small characters as well. This is his first film playing a lead role. Prayaga Martin plays the female lead character in it and this flick has been bankrolled by United Global Media Entertainment.
The plot of this flick revolves around the character named Sreekkuttan played by Bibin George and his romantic life. Bibin plays a young man who is handicapped and the film starts moving when he falls in love with a beautiful girl. The subsequent events that happen in his life including romance and revenge form the crux of the plot.
Shafi had made this movie as a light-hearted feel-good entertainer unlike his previous films, which out and out comedies. The screenplay by Binju and Sunil has been great as they had really created convincing plot situations, nice humor and also a beautiful romantic track to make the audience glued to their seats. Shafi, with all his experience, made it a clean entertainer. The dialogues were hilarious at times and the all the characters were ordinary people. It has been made as a pleasant movie which will make the audience very happy.
The performances from Bibin George and Prayaga Martin has been one of the plus points of this film. They both had done a great job and their onscreen chemistry has been fantastic, Bibin George had proved that he got great talent as an actor besides from being a superb writer. Vishnu Unnikrishnan’s cameo too got great applause from the audience. Along with them, others like Kalabhavan Shajon, Harisree Ashokan, Biju Kuttan, Harish Kanaran, Balachandran Chullikkad, Vijaya Raghavan, Sethulakshmi, Indrans etc too did a very good job in the film.
DOP by Vinod Illampilly has been great as he had captured some cool frames to present this romantic comedy in its perfect manner. Music scored by Arun Raj was decent as well. The songs were melodious and the background scoring by Bijipal too had quality. V Sajan had edited the film and his cuts provided the smooth flow which this feel-good movie required to attract the audience.
In total, Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha is a clean family entertainer which will satisfy you if you love to watch feel-good comedy entertainers. It can be called a romantic comedy as well and one thing is sure that it will give a happy experience for the viewers.
