Oru Muthassi Gadha got International recognition!
Oru Muthassi Gadha is one of the Malayalam movies that released in this Onam season in Mollywood. It has been scripted and directed by Om Shanti Oshana Fame director Jude Antony Joseph. Artists like Suraj Venjarammoodu, Rajini Chandy, Bhagya Lakshmi, Lena, Aparanna Balamurali, Rajeev Pillai etc played the lead characters in it along with Vineeth Sreenivasan who played a cameo in it. The film had got good reviews from the audience from here and done a decent business at the box office as well. Now a report had come in that, Oru Muthassi Gadha had got an International Recognition.
It has been selected to screen at the Prague International Film Festival. This is the only South Indian movie selected this year to screen in this prestigious International film festival. It is really a great achievement for this small budget movie. The plot of this flick has been dealing with two grandmothers played by Rajini Chandy, who is a debutant and Bhagya Lakshmi, who is popular here as a dubbing artist. The plot of the film goes through the life of two generations and it tells the story through different angles as well.
Jude Antony Joseph’s first movie Om Shanti Oshana was also a women-centric movie and it had got recognition in state awards that year as well. Now, Muthassi Gadha also seems to be giving him appreciations and recognitions from all around.
