Oppam created 10 records in 23 day time in Mollywood!
Mohanlal starrer Oppam is really unstoppable in box office now and the film had completed 23 days at the box office. This Mohanlal – Priyadarshan movie had already become one of the all-time biggest blockbusters in Mollywood and had created many records in just three week time in Kerala Box office. It had created almost 10 box office records here within 23 days of its run here. The first record it had set was the fastest Malayalam movie to gross 10 crores. It had grossed 10 crores+ in 6 day time and broken Premam record. Then it became the highest first week grosser in Kerala as well.
After that, Oppam becomes the fastest 15 crores grosser in Mollywood and later crossed 20 crore mark too within record speed. Again it surpassed Premam record. Then in just 13 day time it had surpassed the lifetime gross of Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam and it became the biggest hit in Mollywood this year. Oppam had become the fastest 25 crores grosser and 30 crores grosser as well in Mollywood.
It had become the first Malayalam movie to gross 50+lakhs from Trivandrum Ariesplex and it also becomes the fastest Malayalam movie to gross 1 crore+ from Trivandrum city as well. The film also released in a record number of 119 screens in UK and Ireland.
