Oozham 8 days collection report!
Prithvi Raj, the young super Star in Mollywood had come up with a revenge drama in this season and it is the movie Oozham directed by Jeethu Joseph. The expectation was quite high on this movie as Jeethu Joseph had delivered movie like Memories with Prithviraj some years back and his Mohanlal movie Drishyam still remains the highest grosser in Mollywood history. That expectation level seems to have affected Oozham as it had generated only mixed opinion from the viewers. But it seems that, in box office, the film somehow managed to stand steady. Even though all Onam releases including Oozham is struggling to withstand the storm created by Mohanlal’s Oppam, Oozham seems to be doing a better business than other Onam movies like KPAC, Welcome to Central jail, Oru Muthassi Gada etc. As per the latest reports from trade guides in the industry, the 8 days collection of Oozham from Kerala is around 7.15 crore. It is a very good figure considering the box office thunder made by Oppam.
Trade analysts observe that the overflow in theaters for Oppam had helped Oozham in fact, as it had become the second choice for viewers if they did not get the tickets for Oppam. Oozham has been produced by Fine Tune Pictures and Divya Pillai played the female lead in it.
