Mollywood Young actor Prithviraj won Tamil Nadu State Award!

Prithviraj is undoubtedly one of the most talented youth star in Mollywood. The actor also acted in other language films. Now, this talented actor bagged another state award for his performance and this time in Kollywood.

Prithviraj won the Tamil Nadu state award for Best Actor in a Negative role. His performance in the 2014 movie Kaaviya Thalaivan helped him to bag this award.

The actor himself shared the big news on his official Facebook page. With a still from the movie Kaavya Thalaivan, the actor wrote: “Thank you Vasantha Balan, Siddharth, Y Not Studios and team Kavyathalaivan.”

It was in 2006, Prithviraj won his first Best Actor state award (Kerala) for his acting in the movie Vaasthavam. Then again he bagged this award for the second time in 2012 for his acting in movies Celluloid and Ayalum Njanum Thammil. Finally, now he won his first Tamil state award.

Prithviraj made his Tamil debut in 2005 through the movie Kana Kandaen. Kaavya Thalaivan was his 11th Tamil film. This 2014 historical fiction film directed by Vasanthabalan. In that movie, Prithviraj portrayed the character named Melachivilberi Gomathi Nayagam Pillai. Actor Siddarth played the other lead role in this movie.

This year also saw Prithviraj in an important role in Bollywood film Naam Shabana.
