‘Marakkar’ Updates: Nagarjuna and Sunil Shetty roped in for Mohanlal – Priyadarshan Movie
If the latest reports coming in from Mollywood are to be believed, then Mohanlal-Priyadarshan’s Magnum Opus named Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham will have Telugu Superstar Nagarjuna and Bollywood Star Sunil Shetty in it as well. Reports say that Priyadarshan had roped in these two big stars to play important roles in this movie in which Mohanlal is playing the title character of Kunjali Marakkar.
Priyadarshan told in the press conference while announcing this movie that, there will be stars from Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Britain, and Chinese in this flick. This one is going to be the biggest movie in Mollywood, which will be made using 100 crores. Both Sunil Shetty and Nagarjuna had worked with Priyadarshan earlier. Sunil Shetty even appeared in a Malayalam movie of his, named Kakkakkuyil. Mohanlal played the lead in that film as well.
There were unconfirmed reports, which says that the team behind the movie is looking for either Surya or Vikram to play an important character in this film. Vijay Sethupathy’s name also popped up from some corners. Anyway, the casting is going on and the official announcement will come soon. The flick will start rolling from November 1st this year. Thirru will crank the camera and Sabu Cyril will be the project designer.
