Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is a more challenging work than Baahubali, says Sabu Cyril
Sabu Cyril can be called as most popular and sought-after project designer and art director in India. He has been an integral part of many big films in India including the famous Baahubali series. He is a Malayali and become popular through his works in films like Kaalapani and Thenmavin Kombath with Mohanlal – Priyadarshan team. He shares a great friendship with these two legends and they are all set to work together again in the magnum opus Mollywood movie named Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
Sabu Cyril is of the opinion that this upcoming movie from Mohanlal – Priyadarshan team is posing a bigger challenge than Baahubali in front of him. As it is a movie based on history, there has to be a great body of research work before they do something. The costumes, things, weapons, ships etc used in that period have to be made and presented with the utmost care.
The film will be made using 100 crore rupees and they are planning to start the filming this November. Mohanlal will play the lead and along with him, artists from Bollywood, Kollywood, and Tollywood will be a part of this movie. Chinese, Arabic and British artists also will be a part of the star cast of this movie.
Madhu and Pranav Mohanlal will also be a part of this movie bankrolled by Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident group, and Moonshot Entertainments together. The cast and crew announcement of this film will be made very soon as well.
